Tom Ascol is the Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral Florida. In the mid-90′s Grace Baptist exercised church discipline upon a member. This should be read by all in church leadership, especially, and by all Christians. Church discipline – Biblical church discipline – is something that is sorely lacking in most contemporary churches. We would all do well to look at this not only from the pastoral and leadership viewpoints, but from a congregational standpoint as well. Are we behaving in such a manner that our church SHOULD exercise church discipline upon us?
