Amen! Rushing ahead into the dnmaeds of the day without first making that vital connection is a recipe for disaster. Just yesterday I fussed at my son for continually dropping things…the poor boy is on crutches! I hurried into my day and right past the Lord. Bad idea!

Preached this past Sunday on the sovereignty of God in the birth of Moses, and quoted almost the entire first paragraph in my introduction. Folks at my church would think I was not well if I preached and didn’t quote CHS :)

Have read portions (such as, ‘Men will allow God to be everywhere except on his throne…and the other ‘They will allow’..which ‘gets’ me everytime!!) of this in the past but this is the first time that I’ve read the entire sermon in context. Thanks for posting this swell sermon, brother!

It seems interesting to me that if God is over all and He is sovereign, then we must logically conclude that He is sovereign over all, which would include man’s accountability, responsibility, and culpability to God.
