Or perhaps it rolls its collective eyes. Or yawns. Or, most likely, says nothing.
Yes indeedy-do, September 7 is the day when Against Calvinism: Logical Arguments to Disprove the Doctrines of Grace, including The Definitive Scripture List Refuting Calvinism hits the streets. In collaboration with Jon Cardwell, pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama and Eddie Eddings, digital artist par excellence and curator of Calvinistic Cartoons, we have written a book (yes, FB brethren/sistren(!) and prison ministry colleagues, a real paper and ink book) for the person in the pew that examines the claims of what is referred to as “Calvinism”
and its treatment of the doctrine of salvation, then refuting said doctrines with logical arguments, supported by Scripture. We have done this using levity, satire and irony along with, as one may well expect (and should expect) an irenic tone and swell doctrine.
We have provided a background of the long-held differences between those who would fall in the Calvinist camp and those of the Arminian camp. We then lay out, point by point, the “Five Points of Calvinism,” then present the logical refutation of each point and the Scripture that the Arminian can use in response. It was indeed a tough slog for the three of us, but in our search for biblical truth and submission to the Scriptures as the eternally true Word of the living God, we have presented the truth as it exists.

Against Calvinism was birthed from first compiling, “The Definitive Scripture List Refuting Calvinism.” Having every scripture for refuting Calvinism front and center, the time was ripe to build every premise from the scripture proofs for clear, logical arguments against Calvinistic Theology in order to disprove the teachings that are also referred to as the “doctrines of grace.”

It may well be a tough choice in deciding whether to allocate this month’s bookbuying budget to our little book or the latest Lee Strobel book, “The Case For Writing The Latest In A Seemingly Endless Series Of ’The Case For ______________’ Books”, but we will trust you will choose wisely.

I plan on adding this to my vast collection because my free will advises me to do so. I will post a review of this someday on my own blog, Arminian Antics, if I choose to. If it’s as good as you say it is, I will help get “the Word” out! Thanks for listening and have a choice day!
Well, you sold at least one so far. Surprise! There must be some heavyweight verbiage in that little treatise as the shipping cost is more than 1/2 the price of the book. So, is it too late to get an autographed copy?
I don’t even have MY copy yet.
We added much ink over the original draft. Shipping isn’t set by us. Maybe the extra tonnage is responsible.
Or…
You could read this: http://biblespoof.com/the-book/
And refute every doctrine all together!

[ By the way, I really don't mean to cause a storm. Please delete my comment if you really don't approve. I just stumbled onto your site by googling 'createspace + satire' (since I recently went through that whole process myself), saw your book's topic, and couldn't resist posting a comment because I once spent so much of my life arguing over Calvinism, too. =) ]
